"I want to be an actor,” said four-year-old Edi. And so the journey began...
 
Edi has been doing theatre since he was 8, and he has gone through priest robes, folk costumes, dresses, heels, wigs, makeup, Spanish-speaking roles, fake bellies and balloon-costumes. All this led him to earning a Bachelor’s degree in Acting for Film. He found his passion and his place.
 
Edi gives everything he has to this passion, to this dream that four-year-old Edi once had. That kid didn't want to be a superhero or a dragon. He wanted to be an actor... He wanted to make people laugh, cry and feel something real. As the years passed and he was pursuing his goal, the people around him supported what some considered a ‘delusional’ dream.

Now, the kid has changed. The child has grown…. Now, he is not doing it just for himself and for the audience that will laugh or cry. He is doing it for all the people that believe in him and for each person who has left a play and theatre hall, feeling something, feeling a string of connection between them and the actor. He is doing it to share with them the wonderful characters and reveal to the world the rich stories and traditions hidden within Bulgaria. He is doing it to prove to everyone, who cares to listen, what someone from a small Balkan country can achieve if they have the courage to believe.

Edi is doing it for the kid that said, "I want to be an actor"...
